The VA State Chapter Board of Directors is pleased to offer its members the opportunity to purchase several mixes at subsidized prices. Each member may purchase additional products in unlimited quantities at the NON-SUBSIDIZED prices listed on the order form. Always store seed in a cool, dry place prior to planting. Check with your Extension Office for appropriate planting times, methods and rates in your local area.

Virginia NWTF offers Winter Wheat! Act now!

This Fall we are offering Winter Wheat.  The rate will be $12 per bag to participate.  All pertinent information is provided in the link to answer questions you may have.  Tentatively, the seed is scheduled to ship August 6th.  The VA State Chapter ordered a full tractor trailer load (858 bags) to be made available to our members on a first come first serve basis.  Do not delay submitting your request.  Last fall all bags were claimed in just over a week!

This Spring we are offering Round-Up Ready Corn ($45 per bag), Round-up Ready Soybeans ($20 per bag) and Grain Sorghum ($15 per bag).  All pertinent information is provided in the link to answer questions you may have.  We anticipate all seeds to be available for pick-up by the end of March. Virginia NWTF funds over $1.2 million to conservation and outreach!

EDGEFIELD, S.C. — The Virginia NWTF State Chapter recently met to review Hunting Heritage Super Fund project proposals for 2024 funding awards. After the reviewing and ranking process, proposals were presented to and approved by the Virginia State Chapter Super Fund Committee. The committee budgeted $211,300 for conservation projects, $98,000 for equipment and $42,950 for hunting heritage-related projects, including outreach-education events and chapter scholarships.
